Foundation of MICOS Clinic
The vision of establishing a Medical Ministry as part of Mission Community Services (MICOS) was formulated by founders, the late Rev. Dr. Arsenio and Mrs. Edith Dominguez. While sharing the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ in the villages of Silang, Cavite they saw many people in this community were suffering from sickness and had a lack of medical help due to poverty.
After a long period of earnest prayer, the desire to have a permanent location for the clinic was realised when some of the bretheren from Partners International (USA) donated the amount needed to purchase a plot of land in Biga, Silang.

Our Mission
The mission of the clinic is to provide a holistic healthcare service to patients from underpriveliged families within the local community. Those patients most in need are served free of charge while patients that are capable pay affordable fees to support the operational costs of the clinic.
Our holistic approach to healthcare includes:
The pharmacy was started in response to the escalating cost of medicines in the Philippines. This high cost of medication limits patients from buying what they require and is often the reason that their physical health is neglected. MICOS pharmacy aims to dispense medicines at a low affordable price releiving some of the finacial burden on patients.
Foremost in the holistic ministry of MICOS clinic is the spiritual welfare of the people, it is the very reason why the MICOS organisation was established. As a part of the church ministry the ultimate purpose of MICOS does not end in the healing of the physical body but to bring people into new life through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. The word of God is shared with the patients regardless of religious background or status in life.

Spiritual deficiency can greatly affect the well-being of a person. That is why, when our Lord Jesus saw a paralysed person brought to him by the people, he said, "Your sins are forgiven" (Matt. 9:2) and immediately the person was delivered from his physical bondage. Spiritual weakness can greatly affect the physical condition of anyone.
Each ministriy of MICOS is filled with spiritual opportunities, it is the heartbeat of MICOS's various ministry programmes. Every clinic day the Word of God is first shared with the patients. A spiritual counselor circulates and prays for patients who are waiting for their turn to be served. After clinic hours and during the weekend the counselor visits patients and their homes for follow-up and conducts home Bible studies.

The construction of the building started in 1992 and was aided by Christian friends from the United States who stayed in Cavite until the building construction was complete. The clinic began operating in the new building from May 1993. From that day on, patients increased in number, arriving daily from different villages in Cavite and its neighbouring provinces.
In MICOS clinic patients are treated with compassion, their needs are well attended and medicines are dispensed at an affordable price. Free medical services are provided in quarterly medical missions held in the clinic to cater to those members of the community most in need, providing free consulations with the doctor and free medicines.
